Dips Kitchen has a new location in the works. It is planning to open a Dip and Dash Market this winter at the Upper West Market at 1385 Collier Road.
Upper West Market will open in a 9,000-square-foot space at the address. It will feature 33 stalls, all highlighting local producers and brands. Dips Kitchen will be located at Stall 23.
“Upper West Market’s vision is humble; to create and cultivate an accessible community that authentically bolsters local, fresh, and sustainable goods,” the Upper West Market website states.
Founded by Jeff Scardino in 2023, Dips Kitchen launched as a mobile eatery and later opened its first brick-and-mortar location at Krog Street. Since then, it has expanded to serve dips at Vino Volo Wine Bar in Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. It also serves dips at Virginia Highlands Farmers Market and Peachtree Road Farmers Market.
Dips Kitchen treats dips as the focal point of meals, inspired by Scardino’s family traditions.
“Dips are not only the best part of any meal, they are always at the center of your favorite gatherings. They bring people together,” the Dips Kitchen website states. “That’s a big reason why we created Dips Kitchen: to bring people together around good food.”
The spot serves a variety of dips, including schug hummus, slow-roasted chicken salad, cracklin’ pimento cheese and Moroccan spiced carrot. It also offers seasonal dips. The eatery offers dips with seasonal veggies and pitas, dip samplers, salads and “dipwiches.”
