Offering sandwiches, soups, and salads that are “Naturally Better,” Sourdough & Co. is continuing to grow nationwide, with more than 80 locations currently in operation—including two in Las Vegas. Now, as the brand continues to expand in the valley (where there are a number of locations currently in the works), its next stop will be in the Grand Canal Shoppes at the Venetian.

“For us it all started over a dinner,” franchisee Inder Judge told What Now on Friday. “I have a cousin from California, and when she came over with the kids, the topic turned to, ‘Well, we’re all hungry. Let’s go for dinner. Do you have Sourdough?’”

Eventually the conversation turned toward opening a Sourdough & Co. of there own, Judge met with representatives of the company and—just as importantly—tried the food for the first time.

“In our minds, we were thinking, well, we’ll see, maybe let’s open one location,” Judge says. “But the food really sold me. In the end we bought the rights for all of Vegas.”

Sourdough & Co. sourdough sandwiches included The French Dip, the Smoked Brisket (Savory Smoked Brisket, House Spread, Tomatoes, Green Chili Coleslaw, Barbecue Sauce, Cheddar Cheese, Prepared Hot), the Cranberry Turkey, and the Chicken Cholula (Carved Chicken marinated in Green Chili Cholula & Jalapeno Ranch Dressing. House Spread, Lettuce, Tomato, Crisp Jalapeno, Pepper Jack Cheese, Prepared Hot). It’s also popular for its soups and gourmet salads.

Sourdough & Co. will be launching in the Venetian in early fall, and that’s not the only Sourdough & Co. in the works in the valley—so keep your eyes peeled!
