La Vida, a café known for its lineup of salads, sandwiches, wraps, toasts, smoothies, and açaí bowls, is preparing to open at the highly anticipated Miramar Food Hall. The concept was announced by the venue as one of its upcoming tenants at 1720 N El Camino Real in San Clemente.
The new location will join a roster of other food and drink vendors inside the restored Miramar Theatre, a historic venue originally built nearly 100 years ago. It is being revived by Tiger Hospitality Group and turned into a culinary and community hub. La Vida is one of the company’s proprietary brands.
La Vida already operates from its flagship at Windmill Food Hall in Carlsbad, another Tiger Hospitality venture. It also operated a location at the Little Italy Food Hall in Downtown San Diego, but that establishment recently shuttered.
La Vida’s nutrient-forward menu spans smoothies like the “Passion Colad” and “Vitamin Sea,” sandwiches and toasts such as the Cali Chicken and Ponzu Tuna, wraps including a Kale Chicken Caesar and Coastal Salmon, and bowls like the Seared Tuna and Carlsbad Strawberry Salad. Açaí bowls, breakfast items, a matcha bar, and snacks such as hummus with crudités complete the lineup.
