According to a recently submitted permit application, a new eatery listed as Kaito Sushi Teriyaki Asian Fusion is gearing up to open in northwest San Antonio.
Coming to 15031 Babcock Road, Suite 138, the eatery will soon be neighbor to the College Park H-E-B, and across the highway from restaurants such as Bill Miller BBQ, Church’s Chicken, and Taco Bell.
What Now San Antonio reached out to the location’s owner, Xiaoping (Jennifer) Guo, to learn more about the upcoming eatery; however, she could not provide additional information before publication.
Nevertheless, the filing reveals that the interior finish-out of the 2,350-square-foot space is scheduled to begin on December 20 and to be completed on May 30, 2026. The renovation project is estimated to cost $550,000.
Based on Guo’s contact information, she also appears to be associated with the Texas-based chain of Chinese food restaurants, TJin China Diner.
A brief write-up on Yelp offers an introduction to TJin, sharing, “Established in 2004, it started ten years ago. Now there are many locations in Texas.”
“Our menu boasts a diverse selection, from savory kung pao chicken to flavorful beef lo mein and crispy spring rolls. Whether you’re craving spicy or sweet, our dishes are crafted to satisfy every palate. Enjoy fast delivery or convenient takeout,” the business shares on its San Antonio website.
