A coffee shop known for its house-roasted beans and “caffeine-fueled joy” is opening a second location in Myrtle Beach this fall.

Beach Hippie Coffee, owned by Lori Lesnansky, will open at 2700 N. Kings Highway, joining its original location at 5311 N. Kings Highway

“That means you’ll now find us on both sides of N. Kings Highway–double the love, double the goodness, double the coffee vibes. We’re building a space that brings even more people together with a focus on connection, creativity and joy. Plus, we’ll be expanding our menu to include so much more deliciousness,” the coffee shop shared via Instagram.

Beach Hippie Coffee roasts small batches in-house and serves beach-inspired handcrafted lattes, pour-overs, matcha, chai, tea, from-scratch smoothies and an all-day food menu.

Standout drinks include the Dream Brulee latte, a creamy blend of caramel, brown sugar and vanilla with espresso and milk, and the WunderBar, made with espresso, milk, dark mocha, pistachio and white mocha, topped with cold foam for the ultimate Dubai chocolate bar experience.. The cafe also serves smoothies like the Beach Detox, made with pineapple, mango and ginger, and offers vegan and gluten-free options.

The all-day foodie menu features a mix of indulgent and healthy options. The Bakin Me Crazy asiago bagel sandwich comes with asiago, bacon, double cheddar and egg, while the Spicy Shayster bagel sandwich is loaded with egg, jalapeños, bacon, mozzarella, cheddar and hatch chili flakes. Sweet options include the gluten free and vegan Happiness waffle, Flamingo dragon fruit bowl and housemade treats like blueberry-lemon loaf and cinnamon rolls.

The cafe has been recognized as the winner of the Coastal Coffee Fest in 2024 and 2025 and has earned three consecutive years as Beach of the Beach Coffee Shop.

“We put our dream in motion to come alongside the community to create a place where encouragement is refreshment for your soul and to escape the demands of life to be relaxed. A dedicated coffee culture as we know amazing coffee is like a day at the beach. Sunny days always guaranteed inside of Beach Hippie,” the coffee shop’s website reads.

An exact opening date has not been announced, but Beach Hippie Coffee plans to debut in early October. The cafe has begun hiring for the new location, playfully calling the interviews “Hippie Auditions” in keeping with its laid-back, beach-inspired theme.

Updates on the opening will be posted on the coffee shop’s website and social media channels.
