A local boba chain is expanding to Rocklin.

T% Coffee + Tea is gearing up to open its seventh shop at 6827 Lonetree Blvd, Suite 102, in the Rocklin West shopping center, according to the brand’s Facebook page. The chain already serves handcrafted drinks in Stockton, Midtown Sacramento, Elk Grove, Davis, and Pleasanton.

In addition to the upcoming Rocklin shop, T% has plans to open a Roseville outpost, though its exact address hasn’t been disclosed.

Marketed as a “family-friendly” and “Instagram-worthy” hangout, T% promises fresh bubble teas made with creamy milk, real fruit, and perfectly chewy tapioca. Menu favorites include the Tiger Brown Sugar Boba Latte, Ube Coffee, and Mango Matcha Latte.

The shop also serves an eclectic mix of Asian and American snacks, including beef, fish, octopus, and lobster balls, mini sausage rolls, French fries, and cheese sticks, plus desserts like cheesecake and ‘croffles’ (a croissant-waffle hybrid).

Operator Shwe Ou told What Now Sacramento that while a launch date for the Rocklin location has not yet been set, she hopes to host a soft opening soon. Once it debuts, the store will operate Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Ou is currently hiring team members and encourages applicants to send resumes to [email protected]. For opening updates and sneak peeks, follow @teapercentrocklin on social media.
