One of the culinary world’s most celebrated chefs is helping DC close out the fall with a bang. Marcus Samuelsson is bringing Goodie Lounge, a sophisticated new cocktail experience with a view, to the District later this year, reports Eater Washington DC.

The concept will be welcoming guests on the eleventh floor of the Morrow Hotel, located at 222 M Street NE. Goodie Lounge is one of three Samuelsson-helmed projects opening in the Morrow, joining the already open Sly and Marcus DC. Goodie Lounge does not have an official opening date yet, however the establishment should be open by late autumn.

Goodie Lounge will offer “experiential cocktails” alongside small plates. The facility will also serve as a private event space. Samuelsson is bringing his signature flair to the project, ensuring it will enjoy resounding success in the District. Future guests can look forward to enjoying panoramic views in a trendy and chic environment.
