Cultivate Food + Coffee is making a comeback along Howell Mill Road. After closing its location in West Midtown in December, it is planning to open at 980 Howell Mill Road, Suite 1, in the space that formerly housed Snooze, which shuttered in January.

The brand, launched by local restaurateur Johnny Liu and Ryan Bowersox in 2019, has been undergoing changes in recent months. In addition to closing its West Midtown location late last year (Big Bad Breakfast is now taking that spot over), it just shuttered its spot at The Battery ATL this summer. Now, it has one location left open at Phipps Plaza.

The cafe offers a farm-to-table menu, with plenty of vegan and gluten-free options. Options include Wagyu burgers, vegan burgers, salads, chicken sandwiches, chicken and waffles, tacos, wings and quesadillas.

Coffee offerings include signature drinks like the Honey Pot (local honey-sweetened espresso, organic vanilla syrup and almond milk) and the Oatmilk Honey Espresso. Other offerings include the Lavender Matcha Latte and the Blue Nectar Latte (with pea tea, milk, lavender and vanilla syrup). The spot also offers cocktails, wine, beer and zero-proof beverages.

With the forthcoming Howell Mill Road location, Cultivate is also rolling out a franchising program. Liu told What Now Atlanta that the new location on Howell Mill Road will be operated by a local franchisee.

As of now, an opening timeline for the forthcoming location is unclear. It is listed as “coming soon” on the brand’s Instagram page.
