One of San Diego’s most popular food and drink festivals is coming back to North Park for its 14th season. Powered by Walkabout.app, ‘Taste of North Park’ arrives in October with 50+ food tastings and drink stops, indie boutiques, live music, and more.

Taste of North Park Arrives With Its 14th Edition

North Park’s annual food and drink festival invites attendees to sample a variety of offerings, from craft brews and hard ciders to local favorites like pho and pizza. San Diego’s much-loved restaurants, cafés, and breweries will offer 50+ food tastes and 15+ sips at the event.

Local small businesses and artisans will showcase indie boutiques and pop-up art installations, adding to the festival’s vibrant atmosphere. Live music will further level up the celebration at the 14th season of Taste of North Park.

Venue, Date, Tickets

Festivalgoers can visit North Park at 3812 29th St. for a day of food tastings, drinks, and shopping. Slated for October 4, the timing for the 14th Taste of North Park event is from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Tickets are $50.00 for food only and $65.00 for both food and sips. The $85 Shareable Sip Ticket includes one food tasting to share and two beverage tastings.

While Taste of North Park is for all ages, for alcoholic beverage tastings, the guests must be 21+.

The North Park Garage at 3829 29th Street offers 350 parking spaces. San Diego locals can also access the venue via MTS bus lines 2, 6, 7, and 10.

Multiple small businesses will appear at the San Diego event on Saturday, October 4. Finca, a wine bar and bottle shop that launched in 2024, will be there at North Park. The beverage shop was recently listed in Wine Spectator Magazine’s international list of its Editors’ Favorite Wine Bars.

Between Us, Jeni’s Ice Cream, Bivouac Ciderworks, Sisters Pizza, Suntide Mimosas, and North Park Beer Company are a few other participating names.

The participants at Taste of North Park can get their punch cards at one of the five check-in spots. Starting 10:30 a.m., Bluefoot Bar & Lounge (3404 30th Street), Thai Time (4102 30th Street), The Original 40 Brewing Company (3117 University Avenue), Walkabout Union Cowork (3919 30th Street), or Louisiana Purchase (2305 University Ave) will hand out the cards.

Enhancing the Experience with Walkabout.app

This year, Taste of North Park introduces Walkabout.app, a hyper-local tool connecting attendees with North Park’s small businesses. Walkabout.app enables festival goers to customize their tasting stroll by digitally mapping out the tasting routes.

Through the app, attendees can access details on after-parties, exclusive experiences, and real-time updates on food, drinks, pop-ups, and live music.

The 14th Taste of North Park offers an enhanced, app-guided experience for food, drink, and local artisan enthusiasts.
