Eggstatic, a breakfast-focused restaurant known for modern takes on classic morning fare, is getting ready to expand into Quebec with new locations coming soon to Montreal and Ottawa.
The company’s upcoming sites are part of a broader expansion plan across Ontario and Quebec, with a total of seven new locations currently in the pipeline. While exact opening dates have not been confirmed, a representative from Eggstatic tells What Now Montreal that the new stores will bring the same signature menu and fast-casual concept to these two major cities.
Founded by Chef Faris Awwad, Eggstatic first opened in the Greater Toronto Area and has steadily grown across the province. The concept now includes locations in Toronto, Mississauga, Ajax, Scarborough, Kingston, Hamilton, London, and soon Oakville, which is expected to open on September 27. The forthcoming expansion into Quebec marks the brand’s first entry outside of Ontario.
In addition to Montreal and Ottawa, Eggstatic is also planning locations in Waterloo, Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Barrie, and Downtown Toronto. The company’s steady growth reflects its popularity among both weekday commuters and weekend brunch-goers, with each restaurant designed for casual, high-quality dining.
The menu features creative takes on breakfast staples, including shakshouka, breakfast poutines, fusion omelets, and stuffed French toast. Eggstatic also offers vegetarian dishes and a range of specialty coffee drinks and smoothies. Each dish is crafted to reflect the brand’s playful, globally influenced approach to brunch.
Chef Faris remains hands-on in developing new menu items and ensuring a consistent experience across all stores. With upcoming locations planned across key urban markets, Eggstatic continues to build a strong presence in Canada’s evolving breakfast and brunch scene.
