Black Rock Coffee Bar, a drive-thru-focused boutique coffee chain known for its handcrafted beverages and signature Fuel energy drinks, is getting ready to open four new locations across the Phoenix metro area.

Black Rock Coffee Bar’s new openings include its first launch at 16640 Cactus Road, Suite 100, in Surprise, scheduled for Wednesday, September 24, according to a press release from the company. Additional locations, including 3225 E. Baseline Road in South Phoenix, 320 W. Bell Road, Suite 101, in North Phoenix, and 1010 N. Alma School Road in Chandler, are expected to follow in October 2025. While exact dates for the October openings have not been confirmed, each location will offer limited-edition Arizona state stickers to guests on opening day, while supplies last.

Fueled by its recent IPO, which raised $294 million and saw shares surge nearly 35% on listing day, Black Rock continues to bring its premium offering to new neighborhoods across metro Phoenix and beyond. Founded in Oregon in 2008, the brand has expanded to over 160 locations across seven states. Arizona remains a key market in its growth strategy, with the new stores marking 50 total locations in the Valley.

Black Rock’s menu features customer favorites, including the Caramel Blondie, a creamy caramel espresso drink; the Jackhammer, a vanilla mocha with an extra double shot; and the Mexican Mocha, which incorporates hints of cinnamon, almond, and vanilla. The brand also offers its proprietary Fuel energy drink, which can be customized with over 20 flavors, along with seasonal beverages and a growing food lineup.

This fall, customers can expect limited-time seasonal items like the Pumpkin Blondie, Pumpkin Chai Latte, and Iced Butterscotch Breve. These drinks will be available alongside core offerings, including sweet and savory bites such as the brand’s recently introduced Egg Bites.

“We’re thrilled to continue growing in Arizona and to bring the Black Rock experience to even more neighborhoods across the Valley,” Mark Davis, CEO of Black Rock Coffee Bar, said in a press release. “Each new store represents an opportunity to connect with the community and share our passion for great coffee and exceptional service.”
