Kale Me Crazy has inked a lease for a location in the Star Metals District. It will join the ground floor of the Allen Morris Company’s residential development Stella at Star Metals, located at 660 11th St.

The organic juice bar franchise is slated to open in a 1,320-square-foot space at the development late this year, according to a release. It recently filed building permits for the location.

Solomon Adesanya is the franchise owner behind the forthcoming location, according to corporate filings with the state of Georgia and planning documents. Adesanya is also the operator for Kale Me Crazy locations in Smyrna and East Cobb. In addition to his franchise ventures, Adesanya serves in the Georgia House of Representatives as the representative for the 43rd District.

Kale Me Crazy has a strong presence in the state of Georgia, where the franchise has 18 locations. It also has one location open in Alabama, one in Florida, two in North Carolina and one in Texas.

The brand is known for its organic, health-forward menu, featuring smoothies, specialty coffee and matcha beverages, cold-pressed juices, acai bowls, overnight oats, salads, wraps, sandwiches, flatbreads and toasts.

Other brands recently announced for the Stella at Star Metals development include Peachy and Skin Laundry. They will all join anchor tenant North Italian restaurant Füm as well as Ladybird Grove & Mess Hall. All of these tenants will be part of the 25,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space offered at Stella at Star Metals in addition to its residential offerings.
