SVG 26 LLC dba Alton Distillery Filed For Bankruptcy

SVG 26 LLC at 2037 State Route 17B, Bethel, NY 12720, has been doing business as Alton Distillery since 2010. The company produces craft spirits with a commitment to blend tradition, innovation, and community.

Based in Sullivan County, the distillery sources local ingredients and highlights traditional production methods. However, on September 25, 2025, the company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in the New York Eastern Bankruptcy Court. Chapter 11 provides businesses with an opportunity to restructure debts and operations.

Filing Details of the Case

According to PacerMonitor, the case is listed under number 1:25-bk-44613, with the company representing itself. With less than 50 creditors, the case listed $1,000,001 to $10 million in both assets and liabilities. The U.S. Trustee scheduled a 341(a) Meeting of Creditors for November 3, 2025, to be held via teleconference.

The court also issued a deficiency notice, noting that several required documents need to be submitted. The filings will eventually provide a detailed picture of the distillery’s assets, liabilities, and creditor claims.

The Chapter 11 process gives Alton Distillery an opportunity to reorganize and continue operations if it meets required court deadlines.
