One of Columbus’ favorite taco trucks is making the leap to a permanent home. AJ’s Birria, known for its rich, slow-stewed birria tacos and cheesy quesabirrias, is opening a brick-and-mortar restaurant at 3307 Sullivant Avenue.
Since hitting the streets, AJ’s has built a loyal following with its signature tacos served alongside savory consommé for dipping. The truck’s reputation for bold flavors and hearty portions has made it a must-try for taco fans across the city.
The new restaurant space will give AJ’s the opportunity to expand its menu, offer indoor dining, and serve customers year-round—something not always possible with a food truck. The Sullivant Avenue location places the restaurant in a bustling West Side corridor surrounded by a mix of locally owned businesses and diverse dining options.
