Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux has announced that its eighth Florida location will open on October 6. The new location is at 495 Durbin Pavilion Drive, St Johns, and is the twelfth location for franchise owner Shane Morrison of R&R Brands. The popularity of this sports restaurant is spreading quickly, as the brand prides itself on its 80 nationwide locations.
Walk-On’s handcrafted-from-scratch dishes feature Cajun classics like Pepper Jack Boudin and fan favorites like the Hickory Burger. But their famous Beignet Bites are the kind of treats that make guests return for another bite.
The brand’s community philanthropy is one of its hallmarks. The new location will host a grand opening celebration. The Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux community is presenting $5,000 to four local organizations during these celebrations.
The Twelfth Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux Location for Franchise Owner
The new location shows how loved the brand has become among locals. Since 2017, R&R Brands has been a part of the Walk-on’s family. It has helped the restaurant grow, serving its incredible food and forming genuine connections with different communities. Now, it is taking the brand further with the new St. Johns’ location. Eagerly looking to become the go-to spot among many, the restaurant is all set to open.
Grand Opening to Celebrate the New Location
Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux is ready to announce its arrival to the community with a grand opening. The ceremony will kick off at 9:45 a.m. on October 6, with coffee and fresh beignets. Visitors can look forward to the giveaways and a chance to win free Walk-On’s for a year during the event.
Former Jacksonville Jaguars kicker Josh Scobee will promote an opening day charity drive. It is for his philanthropic partner, the First Tee of North Florida. Walk-On’s and R&R Brands will match the donation made to First Tee North Florida.
The restaurant team is presenting donations totaling $5,000 to four local organizations. These are the St. Johns County School District’s CHARACTER COUNTS/Pursuing Victory with Honor and the Athletic Leadership Councils; Diamonds of Dreams; the St. Johns County Fire Rescue Cadet Program; and the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office Special Teams Association.
Following the opening day, Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux will be open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. It will also open on Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 12 a.m.
