Collin County is kicking off the new year with construction and the promise of fan-favorite steaks on the horizon. Texas Roadhouse will begin construction on a Princeton location in early 2026, according to paperwork.
The popular chain will be getting a brand-newly built storefront at NWQ Princeton Drive and N Beauchamp Boulevard. Paperwork submitted to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation states that the freshly erected “sit down restaurant and bar” will span 7,926 square feet. Princeton diners will likely be able to stop in for a steak or the concept’s beloved bread and honey cinnamon butter sometime in the late summer or early fall of 2026; work is set to begin on the restaurant on January 12 of next year and to wrap by July 6.
Texas Roadhouse-which was, ironically, founded in Indiana and is now headquartered in Kentucky-opened its first location in 1993. 32 years later, the chain has more than 600 global locations. The concept has developed an incredibly ardent following through its commitment to: “Hand-Cut Steaks, Fall-Off-The-Bone Ribs, Made-From-Scratch Sides, Ice-Cold Beer, and of course, our irresistible Fresh-Baked Bread.”
