The world’s coldest martini is making its way to a new DFW home. Hudson House claims the distinction of crafting that particular drink, and has already won over the hearts and stomachs of many a Dallas-area foodie. The restaurant will be strengthening its regional dominance when it opens a location in Southlake next year, reports Culture Map Fort Worth.
Hudson House will be taking over the spot vacated by RA Sushi at 1131 East Southlake Boulevard. Southlake residents still have a bit of a wait between them and enjoying the restaurant’s fare; Hudson House projects a summer of 2026 opening.
Future customers can look forward to enjoying an expansive menu in an elevated but comfortable environment with a certain East Coast sensibility. Hudson House has earned acclaim through its raw bar and East Coast oysters. Of course the world’s coldest martini is certain to be a draw and comes in 6 flavors, including the classic, espresso, and lemon drop.
Hudson House is owned and operated by the Vandelay Hospitality Group. Founder and CEO Hunter Pond explains that the new location is a long time in the making, saying: “Southlake has been on our radar for years—it’s a tight-knit community that values great hospitality and consistency. We’re excited to bring our East Coast raw bar, signature cheeseburger, and the ‘World’s Coldest Martini’ to the neighborhood.”
