The Tavern Collective Brings Its Signature Charm to Texas

Every element at The Tavern Collective, from steampunk-inspired décor and retro playlists to creative cocktails and shareable bites, is designed to entertain guests, all tied together by JD, the brand’s French Bulldog mascot. The Canadian-born concept will officially open its doors on October 22.

This new opening at 1311 Meridian Dr. inside the Sandman Signature Las Colinas Hotel & Suites marks the brand’s first U.S. location. Founded in Canada, the brand reimagines the classic public house for today’s crowd. It blends nostalgia, contemporary design, and a flavorful menu that celebrates creativity and fun.

The menu features creative takes on pub classics and global favorites like cashew butter chicken and jambalaya. Beyond that, customers can also enjoy Detroit-style pizzas, shareable appetizers, cocktails, and an extensive selection of beers.

Happy hour specials will be available daily from 2–5 p.m. and again from 9 p.m. until close. Weekend brunch will be served on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The pub’s vibrant atmosphere features retro music, immersive lighting, muraled walls, steampunk décor, and arcade game corners. JD, the beloved and iconic French bulldog and the brand’s mascot, is the highlight of the brand.

The 6,635-square-foot space combines the charm of childhood arcades and nostalgic neighborhood hangouts with a modern edge. The Tavern Collective also offers a dog-friendly patio and treats from Homegrown Hounds, a local bakery.

The Expansion of “Tavern on Meridian”

The new Tavern on Meridian will capture The Tavern Collective’s signature lively spirit. The space will open Monday to Wednesday from 11 am to 11 pm and on Thursdays until midnight. On Friday, it will remain open from 11 am to 1 am, on Saturday from 10 am to 1 am, and on Sunday from 10 am to 11 pm.

“Dallas is a city that understands the value of gathering, where a solid meal, a standout drink, and good company can feel like more than just dinner out. Tavern on Meridian is designed to be a place where locals and visitors alike can share meals, moments, and memories worth repeating,” said Chris Chang, vice president of operations.

The brand has grown internationally, with locations in Calgary and Winnipeg, a U.K. outpost in Sheffield, and now its first U.S. site in Las Colinas.

The Tavern Collective is a staple name in its home country; with this new location, the brand further showcases a strong commitment to growth and expansion. Tavern on Meridian is ideal for a quick lunch, after-work drinks, or late-night bites.
