Holland & Sherry has plans to open an interior design and textile showroom at 349 Peachtree Hills Avenue NE, Suite 238, according to recently filed permits.
Based in New York City, the brand sells interior textiles, including embroidery, furniture, leather, rugs, trims and wall coverings.
The forthcoming showroom will be located in the Atlanta Decorative Arts Center. The brand is not new to the center — the brand formerly shared a showroom with R HUGHES in Suite 320. Holland & Sherry vice president Daniel Waldron told What Now Atlanta that the new 5,500-square-foot space for Holland & Sherry will triple their footprint at the center, allowing them to provide new products and further offerings for textiles, rugs and wall coverings. It will also feature some new lighting and furniture companies.
“It’s exciting for us. It’s our first flagship standalone showroom in Atlanta,” Waldron said. “It’s a big investment for us, but we’re excited for what that holds.”
Holland & Sherry Interiors stems from the London-based Holland & Sherry apparel brand founded in 1836 by wool merchants Stephen Holland and Frederick Sherry. The interiors side of the business launched in 1998, drawing inspiration from apparel fabrics and applying it to interiors textiles. The brand offers a variety of textile materials, sourced and produced around the world, for interior decorating.
Currently, Holland & Sherry has showrooms around the globe, including spots in New York City, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, London and Dubai.
Waldron said the new showroom is slated to open by the end of the year. They plan to hold a reception for the new space in mid-February.
