A pair of family-owned Filipino restaurants is expanding to Roseville.
Bai Cebu Lechon will open its third location at 212 Harding Blvd, Suite 300 inside the Harding Plaza retail center, confirmed co-owner Reina Dy. The 3,113-square-foot space, formerly home to Next Level Performance Fitness, is slated to open in May 2026.
Reina and Giovanni Dy launched the original Bai Cebu Lechon in Suisun City in 2017, followed by a second outpost in Hayward in 2023. Each restaurant serves a variety of Cebu-inspired dishes, including pancit, lumpia, adobo, and chicken afritada.
The real showstopper, though, is the island-style lechon belly roll—a whole pig roasted over an open flame until the skin turns crisp and the meat tender and flavorful.
Reina said the move to Roseville felt like a natural next step, given the number of loyal customers already making the drive from the area. A restaurant representative also noted that the city’s strong community of Filipino nurses and Bisaya families made it the perfect fit.
“We decided to open in Roseville to cater to customers coming from that area,” Reina told What Now Sacramento. “Loyal customers would drive an hour from Sacramento to our Suisun location to get the lechon.”
In addition to serving its signature dishes, Bai Cebu Lechon plans to host karaoke and live music on the weekends, creating what the representative described as “a place where Filipinos can chill, reminisce, and listen to nostalgic music.”
The Roseville restaurant is expected to employ 10 to 12 team members. For updates on the grand opening, follow @baicebulechon on social media.
