Dave’s Hot Chicken is planning a new location in Anaheim, projected to open next year. County health department records show the company is working on a new store at 216 N Beach Blvd. It will be the second in town for the brand.
The development is being handled by Elevated Restaurant Group. The same franchisee operates the existing Anaheim location (at 2065 E Katella Ave.), which opened in June 2022, as well as locations in Lakewood, Torrance, Long Beach, and Santa Fe Springs. Additional Southern California sites are planned in Whittier and several Arizona cities, its website shows.
The Beach Blvd site is still in the early stages of development. Plans have not yet been approved, and Clinton Wesselink with Elevated Restaurant Group said more details will be provided at a later date. It’s expected to open in Q2 2026.
Elevated Restaurant Group has been heavily involved in Southern California’s QSR scene for over 30 years, running numerous Sonic Drive-In and Jack in the Box restaurants as well. In a deal signed a few years ago, the company announced its goal to open 15 Dave’s Hot Chicken locations in SoCal, Franchising reports.
