An Atlanta-based hair studio is planning a second location. A recent permit filing indicates plans for Ken Bailey Hair Studio to expand to 1134 Ralph D. Abernathy Blvd, Suite 101.
Currently, the local brand has one studio along Decatur Street. Helmed by owner and head stylist Tiffany Leake-Hunter, the upscale hair studio aims to make every client feel like a VIP in a positive, calm environment.
“At Ken Bailey, everyone — whether a senior, student or business professional — is viewed as celebrity clientele,” the website states. “Clients not only receive stellar service and all-star quality, the salon maintains the highest level of professionalism and exceptional time management.”
Leake-Hunter has more than 16 years of styling experience from working at salons across the Southeast.
Ken Bailey Hair Studio offers salon services including sew-in extensions, color and cuts.
Leake-Hunter confirmed the forthcoming location in a phone call with What Now Atlanta. She said that construction is still to come on the space, and they hope to open by the beginning of 2026.
The permit indicates plans for interior renovations to convert the current 1,300-square-foot office space into a beauty salon space. Work includes the addition of three new hair wash bowls.
