After launching-and expanding-a beloved Asian street food concept, a pair of Memphis restaurateurs are preparing to try their hands at something new. Arturo Leighton and Sarah Cai, the brains behind Good Fortune Co., have plans in the works to launch a New York-style pizzeria, reports Daily Memphian.

The as-of-yet unnamed restaurant will be occupying a 5,250 square foot storefront at 361 S. Main Street. Leighton and Cai received an $88,700 Special Development Grant from the Downtown Memphis Commission Center City Development Corp. to develop the eatery, alongside renovating and expanding of Good Fortune Co.-which will be the new concept’s next-door neighbor.

The opening timeline is somewhat nebulous, depending as it does on the renovations and expansion of Good Fortune Co. being completed before the new pizzeria is ready for customers. However Cai and Leighton stated on their application for the grant that they hope to be open by fall of 2026.
