A new eatery is set to open in Walla Walla.

Lamadrid’s Bistro, owned by Arturo and Luisa Lamadrid, will debut at 628 W. Main Street.

“Every family has a story, welcome to ours! With love, from our kitchen to your table!” the restaurant shared via Facebook.

The bistro will serve sandwiches, soups, salads, appetizers and burgers for lunch, and steak, salmon, pasta and baby back ribs for dinner, according to the My Town Walla Walla Washington Facebook group.

Many commenters said they’re excited to try the new spot.

“Will definitely give them a try!” Debbie Ross commented.

“The more independently owned businesses in town, the better!” Brianna Kirshner added.

“That’s very exciting for the WW area!” Darian Dennison said

The Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board recently approved Lamadrid’s Bistro for a liquor license, according to business filings.

The restaurant has not announced an official opening date but said, “We’ll keep you all posted on grand opening.” For updates, follow along on Facebook.
