Egg Harbor Café Coming to Colorado

Breakfast and lunch restaurant Egg Harbor Café is bringing the brand to Colorado. According to the Denver Post, the eatery chain, based in Chicago, just announced its plans to expand to the Centennial State. Its first location will be located at in the Denver Tech Center at 7222 E. Layton Ave.

The DTC restaurant will open inside Vectra Bank’s 2022-built office tower at Belleview Station, realtor Venus Howard reports. It will be the first tenant in the 5,100-square-foot ground-floor retail shell. Major construction works must be done to convert it to a restaurant space.

Founded in 1985, Egg Harbor Café remains family-owned across three generations. It has grown to more than 20 locations across Illinois, Georgia, and Wisconsin. The business has said it’s interested in opening a handful in the Denver metro over the next few years.

Will Makoski, who has been with the company since 2007, is overseeing operations in this new market. His wife and stepson also work for Egg Harbor. They expect to open the doors to the DTC cafe in early 2026.
