Jeff’s Bagel Run is preparing to make its Colorado Springs debut soon, with progress on its first local shop underway. Planning records from the City of Colorado Springs show that the store will be located at 6082 Stetson Hills Blvd and is preparing to hang banners announcing its arrival.

The franchise owner for this store, Dave Weinberg, confirmed with What Now Denver that construction began a few weeks ago and is expected to wrap up by the end of the year. As of now, the opening is slated for mid-to-late January.

A 1,500-square-foot space, the full-scale bakery will feature a drive-through, and bagels will be baked fresh daily on-site. Any product leftover at the end of the day is donated to local shelters or others in need.

The bagel shop is the first part of a two-unit franchise deal Weinberg signed with the company, announced this spring. He told the publication that details on a second shop will come at a later date, and he is open to the option of developing more in the future.

Weinberg is a Florida native who moved to Colorado Springs in 2021. He has a BSBA in Business and an MBA, and was previously in the manufacturing industry before switching over to F&B entrepreneurialism. Jeff’s Bagel Run is also from Florida, but now has over 90 stores open/in development across the U.S.
