Las Vegas-based hospitality group Carver Road Hospitality has announced that it is bringing two concepts to Pier 17 in the Seaport. In addition to Flanker Kitchen + Sports Bar, the hospitality group plans to introduce The Hidden Boot Saloon to New York City, according to a recent announcement. These concepts will comprise Carver Road Hospitality’s East Coast flagship, and both are expected to open in fall 2026.
The two-level dual-concept space, designed by acclaimed firm The Design Agency, will feature Flanker on the ground floor and The Hidden Boot Saloon on the second floor. The Hidden Boot Saloon will feature three modern country bars, line dancing, a mechanical bull, country music and an upbeat party atmosphere with a country twist.
The Flanker location in Salt Lake City also features a location of The Hidden Boot Saloon, offering a speakeasy-style, rustic atmosphere. It features its own dinner menu, including burgers, pulled pork sliders, tacos, wings and country-style tenders. It has a limited late-night menu, as well, featuring bites like nachos, tenders and wings. The beverage program offers signature cocktails, including zero-proof options.
“There is nowhere like New York, a city that truly sets the standard for food and entertainment and has always been part of our long-term vision,” Sean Christie, founder and CEO of Carver Road Hospitality, said in a statement. “Flanker is not just a sports bar; it’s a fully immersive dining, cocktail and entertainment experience that connects people through food, energy and design. The Seaport is the perfect social setting to bring that vision to life in one of the city’s most exciting destinations.”
Michael Rea, chief business officer at Carver Road Hospitality, confirmed the forthcoming concepts with What Now New York, sharing that they are targeting a September opening next year.
