Birmingham-based bookstore Books-a-Million is opening a new location in Sandy Springs at 4600 Roswell Road in Chastain Market. A grand opening to unveil the new store is planned for December.
The forthcoming spot will be about 11,000 square feet, according to Tomorrow’s News Today Atlanta. It will neighbor a Trader Joe’s and will join other nearby businesses such as Chipotle, Pendolino and Big B’s Fish Joint.
Books-a-Million has more than 250 locations across the country. Local spots include stores in Douglasville, McDonough, Lawrenceville, Peachtree City, Canton and Gainesville.
The bookstore sells a wide variety of books, as well as other items like vinyl records, collectibles and toys and games such as puzzles, Legos and trading cards.
