A new wine bar and coffee‑lounge concept is getting established in Lakewood, offering java in the AM and drinks and snacks in the evening. Liquor licensing records show Wolf + Wildflower is awaiting approvals to start serving at the space, 150 South Union Boulevard, Suite 104.

The Lakewood Liquor & Fermented Malt Beverage Licensing Authority has scheduled a public hearing on the tavern license application for Friday, November 21. While the owners, Justin McCann and Melody Zanation, wait for the outcome of that, sister concept Mountain Milk Coffee began operations just a few weeks ago.

“We’ll be slanging Mountain Milk weekdays from 6:30 am – 3 pm on weekdays and 7 am – 3 pm on weekends. The wine bar side of things will be opening up as soon as Lakewood approves our alcohol license!” the company shared on Instagram.

The two businesses’ first location is in Wheat Ridge. Coffee is served in the morning and early afternoon, and in the evenings, Wolf + Wildflower’s menu features small plates, flatbreads, charcuterie/vegetable boards, and dessert wines.
