Delos Greek Restaurant, a new Greek concept from the ownership behind Carnegie Diner & Café, already has expansion plans in the works. It will open at 200 Chambers, with plans to open in summer 2026, according to Tribeca Citizen.
Stathis Antonakopoulos is behind the forthcoming concept, which is slated to debut in Midtown within the coming weeks. The Tribeca location will be the second for the Delos brand.
Delos is a nod to Greek mythology, as it is the birthplace of Artemis, the goddess of hunt, and Apollo, the god of music. Antonakopoulos told What Now New York in a recent interview that he is returning to his Greek roots for this restaurant, with plans for a Greek-inspired menu that will also remain affordable.
“One of the things that I love is Greek food,” Antonakopoulos told What Now New York in a previous interview. “I always wanted to have my own Greek restaurant that is a little different from Milos and Avra, which are more high-end and expensive. My goal is to bring that high-quality food at an affordable price.”
Signature dishes will include traditional Greek offerings with a twist, with fresh seafood and meat playing dominant roles on the menu.
Antonakopoulos is also behind Carnegie Diner and Café, which has eight locations across New York, New Jersey and Virginia.
