Two new Wendy’s locations are on their way to the Sacramento International Airport, thanks to Houston-based concessionaire LaTrelle’s Management Corporation.
According to a recent Facebook post from SMF, LaTrelle’s will introduce the international fast-food favorite to 6900 Airport Blvd, Terminal B. The company’s website also confirms a second Wendy’s is opening at the airport, though its exact location has not yet been specified.
“The LaTrelle’s story goes back nearly 40 years, beginning when founder W.A. James Sr. turned his wife Gladys LaTrelle’s home-baked cookies into a family business,” the airport shared. “What started as a small bakery grew into one of the first companies to bring national restaurant brands into airports, opening the first-ever Wendy’s in an airport, along with the first Subway and Buffalo Wild Wings.”
Today, LaTrelle’s operates more than 40 fast-casual eateries across five airports and Texas neighborhoods, including Wendy’s, Stumptown Coffee, Buffalo Wild Wings, Pick Up Stix, Dunkin’, Starbucks, and more.
Opening dates for the two upcoming Wendy’s locations have not yet been announced. What Now Sacramento has reached out to LaTrelle’s for additional details and will update this page as new information becomes available.
“At SMF, we know travelers have different needs and budgets and it’s important to offer cost-friendly, quick-service options alongside our sit-down restaurants,” the airport said. “Wendy’s will be a welcome addition for anyone looking for something fast, familiar, and fresh before their flight.”
