A popular Filipino fast-food chain could be opening another local site.
The city is currently reviewing plans for a new Jollibee location at 1913 Douglas Blvd in Roseville, reports the Sacramento Business Journal. The site sits in a busy retail center anchored by Raley’s and Target.
Known as “the largest and fastest-growing Asian restaurant company in the world,” Jollibee is celebrated for its crispy, hand-breaded Chickenjoy fried chicken, sweet-style Jolly Spaghetti, and cult-favorite Peach Mango Pie. Founded in 1978, the brand has grown to more than 1,700 stores worldwide, including 100+ in North America.
Locally, Jollibee currently has one local site in Sacramento’s Southpointe Plaza, with another slated to open in Elk Grove in early 2026. If approved, the Roseville outpost would take over the former Rubio’s Coastal Grill, which shuttered its remaining Sacramento-area locations in 2024.
What Now Sacramento has reached out to Jollibee representatives for additional details and will report back as more information is provided.
