North Italia is embarking on an expansion in Houston, bringing its third location to the Greater Houston Area that is set to open at the LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch. According to this state filing, the new North Italia is set to open at 23501 Cinco Ranch Blvd.
North Italia’s project manager, Milena Noneff, was listed on the permit and confirmed with What Now Houston that the third iteration of the North Italian-inspired eatery is expected to open sometime next Spring. The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation permit details that construction on the new North Italia is already underway and is slated to wrap in March 2026.
The modern Italian restaurant was founded in 2002 by Sam Fox of Fox Restaurant Concepts. North Italia first came to the Greater Houston area in March of 2015, with its first location in the Galleria area at the Blvd Place development. Just a few years later, in 2019, the brand became a subsidiary of The Cheesecake Factory, which acquired Fox Restaurant Concepts. Today, North Italia operates under The Cheesecake Factory as a company-owned brand, focusing on expansion across the U.S. while maintaining a neighborhood restaurant feel.
What Now Houston reached out to Russell Owns of Fox Restaurant Concepts to find out more details about the North Italia Katy opening to come to LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch early next year, but did not hear back by the time of publication.
While there aren’t a whole lot of details available about the new North Italia to come to the Greater Houston area, Noneff did confirm that the new Italian eatery will serve the same dishes they’ve become known and loved for at their other locations throughout the country.
Serving up lunch, brunch, and dinner, North Italia is rooted in tradition but crafted for today, as the website suggests. The brand was founded on two essential principles: exceptional Italian cuisine and great hospitality.
“When you walk through our doors, you’ll discover an Italian dining experience where traditional flavors meet modern innovation, always evolving, always inspired,” the website reads.
Dishing out salads, pasta, pizzas, and a host of Italian-inspired entrees like the Braised Short Rib Lumache and the Tortelloni al Pomodoro, North Italia stays the course and keeps its principles alive through every bite and welcomes guests at its restaurants.
The new North Italia, the third to come to the Greater Houston area, is expected to open in the LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch at 23501 Cinco Ranch Blvd. by Spring 2026.
