Seattle’s Beloved Pub and Seafood Spot Closes After Almost Four Decades

Pike Pub and Pike Fish Bar has permanently closed its doors after three decades of service.

After more than 30 years serving Seattle, Pike Pub and Pike Fish Bar closed their doors in late November 2025. As the landmark location has shut its doors, Pike Brewing will continue its legacy in the Pacific Northwest.

Pike Hub and Pike Fish Bar Shut Their Doors for Good

Located on 1st Avenue in downtown Seattle, Pike Pub and Pike Fish Bar were beloved local destinations for decades. The long-standing pub was known for its casual atmosphere, fresh seafood, and lively downtown vibe. The Pub also had a close connection with Pike Brewing.

The pub recently announced its closure on social media. “After more than three decades in the heart of Seattle’s beer scene, we will be closing the doors to Pike Pub and Pike Fish Bar,” read the Instagram post.

The post expressed heartfelt thanks “to every guest, regular, team member, and beer lover who helped make our downtown home so special.”

The pub opened in 1989 and served the Seattle community with dedication for nearly 40 years. On November 30, the pub served its final meal and celebrated its almost 40 years of legacy. “Your stories and support have meant everything,” concluded the pub.

Pike Brewing Continues On as Landmark Location Closes

While Pike Pub and Pike Fish Bar have closed, Pike Brewing’s taproom will remain open.

The brewery features some of the Pike signature beers like Space Needle IPA, Kilt Lifter, Monk’s Uncle, Post Alley Pils, Uptown Hazy IPA, and Ol’ Crimson Legendary Lager. The beer will also be available at grocery stores, bottle shops, and bars throughout Seattle and the Pacific Northwest.

“This is not the end; it’s just a new chapter. And we’re excited to write it with you,” added the pub.

Even as the pub closed, Pike Brewing reassured customers that their favorite beers would remain available. No official reason for the closure has been shared.
