Saucy! by KFC, the restaurant that “sauces up” traditional KFC chicken, is expanding its presence in the Orlando Market. The restaurant is opening an Orlando location on December 6 at 12195 East Colonial Drive and a Winter Park restaurant on January 10 at 925 S. Orlando Avenue — with more on the way.

Saucy! by KFC is a fairly new concept , and is operated by KFC Corporation, a subsidiary of Yum! Brands, Inc. The restaurants feature drive-thru lanes, self-serve kiosks and pink-hued restaurants designed for Instagrammable moments. The restaurant also offers a Saucy! app that allows guests multiple ways to customize their experience and even unlock some unique “flavors with benefits”.

Diners can start their flavor adventure with “tendies”, “sammies”, “a “Chick’ito”, a “Grand’ito”, rice bowls, or salads and customize their meal with signature sauces. Currently there are 11 core sauces in flavors that range from sweet and spicy BBQ to teriyaki, along with rotating limited edition flavor drops. Other menu items include Brussel Bites, and Puffies (popable, dippable pastries).  Late night diners are rewarded with the Late Night Kitchen Sink Grand’ito – an over-the-top, hand-held burrito filled with queso, crinkle cut fries, egg, and chopped “tendies” that’s only available after 9 p.m.

With Saucy! by KFC, parent Yum! Brands is hoping to introduce a new generation to Kentucky Fried Chicken, only tailored to on the go lifestyles, rather than families who enjoy the classic meals in a bucket.
