Willis Boba and Coffee is already gaining traction on social media, as the Greater Houston area community shares speculation on when the new coffee shop will open. A recently filed permit shows that Willis Boba and Coffee will open in Jupiter Square at 702 W. Montgomery Street, Suite 700. While construction plans detail that the new coffee shop should be cleaned up and ready to steam in July of next year, the owner tells us a different timeline.
What Now Houston reached out to An Le, who is listed on the permit, and confirms that Willis Boba and Coffee should actually open by April 2026. Though Le did not hop on a call to share further details about Willis Boba and Coffee with us, she did confirm the opening via text.
The new cafe is said to have ties to Houston’s one-stop gourmet international food experience, Phoenicia Specialty Foods. Le did not respond to our request for more information on the connection. What Now Houston reached out to Phoenicia Specialty Foods owner Ann-Marie Tcholakian for more details on Willis Boba and Coffee, but we did not hear back by the time of this publication.
While there aren’t very many details on the new coffee spot set to come to Jupiter Square next spring, the permit details that the 1400 square foot building will cost about $150,000 to construct. Due to the title, customers can expect to get their fill of coffee, treats, and boba drinks.
Willis Boba and Coffee does not have a website or social media pages just yet, but you can be sure to find out the latest in the community and right here with us.
Willis Boba and Coffee is expected to open in Jupiter Square at 702 W. Montgomery Street, Suite 700, in Willis by April 2026.
