Mai Thai Kitchen and Bar is slated to open at 3872 Roswell Road, Unit 18B, according to liquor license paperwork filed with Neighborhood Planning Unity B this month. It will take over a 2,550-square-foot space formerly belonging to Brack’s Kitchen, which announced its relocation to Lenox Towers earlier this year.
The 104-seat Thai restaurant will offer dishes such as Crying Tiger, which features grilled marinated beef served with spicy tamarind dipping sauce; Avocado Shrimp Salad; Chicken Satay, which features grilled skewers with marinated chicken and peanut sauce; Wings Zaab with sauce made with roasted chili, fish sauce and lime; Salmon Carpaccio; Thai green curry; and Penang Salmon with Thai red curry.
Paperwork indicates that the ownership team consists of four owners, including Duc Xuan Tran. The owners have prior restaurant experience.
The website for Mai Thai Kitchen has the spot listed as “coming soon,” though no opening timeline has been revealed yet. Once it opens, the hours of operation will be 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, with hours extended to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Hours will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday.
