Un Caffe Coffee Bar is steaming up for a hot expansion in the Greater Houston region. According to this state filing, the cafe is expected to open a new location in the Union Transfer and Storage Building at 1113 Vine Street, Suite 125.

Getting the new Un Caffee Coffee Bar up and running appears to be a quick turn-and-key process, with construction on the new coffee spot slated to start in February and wrap in March of next year. What Now Houston briefly spoke to Un Caffee Coffee Bar founder, Soonkack Kook, who confirmed that he anticipates opening the new hot drink destination by March 2026.

This will be the second location for the coffee brand, which opened the Italian-focused coffee hub in Midtown off Milam Street back in 2023. Now embarking on another opening just a few years after its debut, Kook appears to be keeping his vision flowing into the new Un Caffee Coffee Bar set to open in the Union Transfer and Storage Building early next year.

Un Caffe Coffee Bar was born from Kook’s passion for specialty coffee and desire to offer authentic Italian espresso alongside modern light roasts, according to the brand’s website. The software engineer turned franchise restaurant owner turned coffee connoisseur credits 2016 Espresso Italiano Champion, Daehoon Park, for helping him develop his methods for Italian-style coffee.

“Un Caffè in Midtown Houston has become a favorite destination for locals, coffee professionals, and visitors to the city,” the website reads.

Beyond the world-class drink selections, Un Caffe Coffee Bar provides an undeniably welcoming experience with Kook at the helm.

Welcome the new Un Caffe Coffee Bar yourself when the new location opens in the Union Transfer and Storage Building at 1113 Vine Street, Suite 125, in March 2026.
