Upcoming Restaurant Openings in Atlanta
New restaurants are soon to arrive in Atlanta, filling the city’s culinary scene with more flavors. Here’s a roundup of the city’s newest restaurant openings, reported by WhatNow last week.
Fuse Frozen Co.

Opening its first Atlanta-area location, Fuse Frozen Co. is ready to bring frozen yogurt, custard, gelato, and more. The shop will occupy roughly 1,000 square feet and is set to open; it’s set to open at 925 Virginia Ave in Hapeville. Featuring the brand’s signature bright color scheme and variety of flavors, the new shop will add another dessert option to the Hapeville community
The location will be one of the two franchise locations in Hapeville and will be owned by Terrance and Roxanne Richardson. The spot is likely to open in Q1 of 2026, while the brand continues to expand in other areas of Atlanta. Learn more about the opening here.
Famous Dave’s

Early next year, Alpharetta is set to welcome the popular Midwest barbecue restaurant Famous Dave’s. Set to open at 10710 State Bridge Road, the brand brings its high-quality barbecue to Atlanta’s food scene. The location spreads over 2,800 square feet and will feature the brand’s usual offerings.
The menu will include the brand’s award-winning ribs and signature feasts. Derek S. Scott, M.D., and his business partners, Vetra Stephens and Lord B. Degraffinreid, will open this location. Read more about the opening here.
Let’s Talk Brunch

The husband-and-wife team behind Over The Top Street Eatz in Newnan has a new concept on the way. Let’s Talk Brunch is Cierria and Antoine Davison’s latest project and is set to open at 226 Greenville St., Suite H. The approvals and inspections are still underway, so no timeline has been shared yet.
For this new restaurant, locals can expect to see breakfast and brunch items. While the team hasn’t shared an opening timeline, the team has shared updates on the construction and design via social media. Find more information on the restaurant right here.
Smash Hit Burgers

After launching as a food truck, Smash Hit Burgers is preparing to open its first brick-and-mortar location. Opening at 2921 Cherokee St. NW in Kennesaw, locals can prepare to grab their delicious food in February. From their signature smash burger, The Smash Hit, to their Blackened Salmon BLT, there’s a lot to try out here.

Mai Thai Kitchen

Taking over 2,550 square feet of space, Mai Thai Kitchen is soon opening at 3872 Roswell Road, Unit 18B. The Thai restaurant is ready to bring its fabulous delicacies to the new neighborhood soon. So, from Crying Tiger to Avocado Shrimp Salad and Chicken Satay, prepare to bite into everything the restaurant has to offer.

Chicks N Boba

Chicks N Boba is planning to open in Buford by next spring. Set to be located at 1 West Main St., Suite 3, the restaurant is ready to bring a lot of excitement to the neighborhood. Known for its milk teas and chicken dishes, the concept will add another option to the metro area.
Menu items also include chicken sandwiches, hand-cut fries, and a variety of boba tea options. The new opening was confirmed by one of the brand owners. Find out more about the opening here.
