Soda shop Swig is opening a location in Leesburg.
The shop, known for its dirty sodas, is opening a location at a former H Tea O shop at 914 N. 14th Street, at the corner of North 14th Street and Citizens Boulevard, according to Leesburg-News.com. An opening date has not been announced.
The Utah-based soda chain growing its presence slowly in Florida. Currently, there are three Swig Soda locations in Florida, with another slated for Cape Coral, in addition to the upcoming Leesburg spot, according to the company store locator.
Swig was founded in St. George, Utah in 2010 by Nicole Robison and Todd Tanner. It’s best know for its “dirty sodas”, which are popular soft drinks customized with flavored syrup, cream, and foams. Social media and the public’s favorable reaction to alternatives to alcoholic and coffee drinks helped fuel Swig’s popularity. Today, the company operates locations in 15 states.Â
Swig’s menu of dirty sodas includes favorites like the Dr. De Leche (Dr. Pepper, dulce de leche and vanilla sauces, and vanilla cream), and the Endless Summer (Mountain Dew, passion fruit and strawberry purees, and lime). Customers can also make their own bespoke dirty sodas. The drive-thru shop also offers energy drinks called Revivers, pretzel bites, and hot beverages.
