Cococina, a new restaurant described as a place of shared flavors and unique spirit, is getting ready to open in Montreal at 460 McGill St.
The ownership team has not yet announced an exact opening date, though recent social media updates indicate the debut is imminent. Final preparations are underway, and the team has begun the hiring process, according to posts on the restaurant’s Instagram page. Customers can expect a setting centered on dining and drinks, with an extended-stay experience hinted at in the brand’s messaging.
Cococina’s interior design has been led by Anonymus Concepts, a Montreal-based studio known for creating practical and visually driven commercial spaces. Their portfolio includes restaurants, offices, and retail spaces, with Cococina listed among their recent commercial designs. The studio emphasizes hands-on involvement from initial discussions through final execution, aiming to deliver spaces that reflect each client’s concept.
This will be an excellent landing space for Cococina as it prepares to introduce its concept to Montreal. With construction nearing completion and the design reveal expected soon, customers can look forward to a new restaurant focused on dining, sipping, and staying awhile when the doors officially open.
“Cococina offers a contemporary interpretation of European fashion, highlighting soft, rounded corner edges as the focal point of the design,” according to Anonymus Concepts’ website. “Cylindrical and rounded elements create distinctive design features, while earthy tones and custom artwork take center stage. Plaster columns pay homage to the classic architecture of Europe, infused with a Moroccan design twist. The space is elegantly wrapped in a Marrakech finish and warm wood tones, creating a harmonious ambiance.”
