A new butchery and restaurant will open in downtown Franklin. The Franklin Butchery will open at 129 Second Ave. N.

The brand is currently in the alcohol licensing phase and has plans to open in January, according to a recently filed application and an announcement on the brand’s Facebook page.

The spot will be a chef-led, family-owned butcher shop and will serve gourmet sandwiches, premium steaks, fresh seafood from Maine and pork chops. It will be “dedicated to honest cuts, sustainable sourcing and Southern hospitality,” according to the brand’s website.

From our block to your table — we cut with care so you can cook with pride,” the Facebook page states.

Co-owner Carlos Tirado told What Now Nashville that they are still in the buildout phase and are progressing steadily toward opening.
