PopUp Bagels has plans for a second location in Atlanta. It will open in a 1,440-square-foot space at Buckhead Landing at 3330 Piedmont Rd NE, Suite 25, according to a recent permit filing. The space was formerly home to waxing studio Waxing the City.
This location will be the second in the Atlanta area for PopUp Bagels, who announced their first location in the city earlier this year. Power Brands Hospitality Group is leading the Southeast expansion for the fast-growing franchise, which finds its roots in Connecticut and New York. Adam Goldberg launched the brand as a pandemic project and it now has 23 locations open across New York, Connecticut, North Carolina, Massachusetts, Maine, Florida and California. There are many more locations in the works across the country.
PopUp Bagels is known for its straightforward menu featuring “the bagel as it should be,” with options such as everything bagels, sesame bagels, salt bagels, plain bagels and poppy seed bagels.
A representative with Power Brands Hospitality previously told What Now Atlanta that there are at least five locations planned for Georgia.
PopUp Bagels also has multiple locations on the way to the Charlotte area, as well as plans to expand to Nashville in the coming year.
