Italian gelato brand Bacio di Latte is coming to Huntington Beach. The company confirmed to What Now OC that it is working on a location at the Bella Terra shopping center, 7777 Edinger Ave, expected to open in Summer 2026.
Bacio di Latte submitted initial plans for review in early December. No inspections or approvals have been issued so far, Orange County Health Care Agency records show.
“Our journey has been driven by a passion for sharing the authentic taste of Italian gelato with the world. Each new store represents not just a place to enjoy our creations but a new opportunity to connect with more people and spread the joy that gelato brings,” Edoardo Tonolli, Founder of Bacio di Latte, said in a press release. “We look forward to welcoming the vibrant Huntington Beach community into the Bacio di Latte family and continuing to create unforgettable moments, one scoop at a time.”
Produced in-house daily, the brand crafts high-quality gelato using top-tier ingredients. It sources organic milk and creams from a family farm in the Sonoma Valley, European chocolates, and pistachios and hazelnuts from Italy, its website explains. Bacio also serves fresh fruit sorbets.
Started in Brazil over a decade ago, there are over 200 locations in its home country and over two dozen in California. Its SoCal footprint has grown steadily in recent years.
The brand operates across premier shopping corridors and mixed-use developments throughout Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego. Fashion Island and Irvine Spectrum Center both house bustling locations, and another on the border of Newport Beach and Costa Mesa just opened last month.
