Gastamo Group, the Denver-based hospitality team behind Perdida, Park Burger, Park & Co, and Lady Nomada, announces the official opening of Homegrown Tap & Dough in Castle Rock on December 26, 2025. Located at the corner of Third & Wilcox, the restaurant marks Homegrown’s sixth location and Gastamo Group’s 15th overall, designed as a welcoming neighborhood gathering place for Castle Rock families, friends, and visitors it has the privilege to serve.

Homegrown Tap & Dough Castle Rock will officially join the community with a ribbon cutting alongside the Castle Rock Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., as part of a grand opening celebration taking place the week of January 5, 2026. The celebration will kick off a month-long give-back initiative that reflects the brand’s deep commitment to the communities it serves. From January 5 through January 31, 2026, $1 from every pizza sold at the Castle Rock location will be donated to Help & Hope Center, a local nonprofit dedicated to supporting Castle Rock families through food assistance, resource navigation, and crisis support.

“Opening in Castle Rock is a milestone we’re proud to celebrate with the community,” said Peter Newlin, CEO of Gastamo Group in a statement. “We are excited to launch with a month-long give-back to Help & Hope Center, donating $1 from every pizza sold in January. We are committed to being a great neighbor for years to come, and we’re here to listen, learn, and keep getting better for Castle Rock.”

Homegrown Tap & Dough serves approachable Italian classics including hand-tossed pizzas, quality pasta dishes, and crave-worthy starters, paired with a curated lineup of Colorado craft beers and hand-crafted cocktails. The Castle Rock location debuts a fresh “elevated ranch” look, with rustic wood finishes, Pendleton fabrics, and Western details that nod to the town’s heritage while preserving Homegrown’s warm, communal feel.

The 6,020-square-foot restaurant features 226 indoor seats and a 35-seat corner patio, with garage doors that open to connect the dining room to the energy of Downtown Castle Rock. Guests can reserve private and semi-private dining spaces ideal for celebrations, community gatherings, graduations, and holiday events. A custom reeded kitchen window in the semi-private room offers a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the kitchen while preserving an intimate dining experience. TVs are thoughtfully placed so the game is always in view without overwhelming the space. Locally rooted touches set the restaurant apart: a custom elk head by artist Dolan Geiman, locally crafted millwork, and a curated free-play vintage arcade from Chattanooga Pinball for a playful, family-friendly vibe.

The menu leans into shareable, crowd-pleasing flavors with starters like Spinach & Artichoke Dip and Pepperoni Rolls, alongside Homegrown’s signature pizzas, quality pasta dishes, new burgers, and protein-forward bowls. Gluten-free and vegetarian options appear throughout the menu, ensuring there’s something for everyone at the table.

Community connection sits at the heart of the Castle Rock opening. Gastamo Group’s civic work includes founding the Denver Deluxe Music & Art Festival, serving more than 250,000 meals to healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic, and ongoing support for local schools and nonprofits. The Castle Rock restaurant was brought to life by dozens of local vendors, artists, and builders and employs more than 65 local team members.

With its December opening, January grand opening celebration, and partnership with Help & Hope Center, Homegrown Tap & Dough Castle Rock begins its next chapter rooted in food, hospitality, and giving back to the community it calls home.
