A Dallas catering company that specializes in Asian cuisine is getting ready to start its next chapter. Yume Foods Catering is opening its first restaurant called Bite l Sushi & Tapas Bar in Dallas, and future regulars should be able to indulge in its dishes later this year.

Bite’s 900 East Clarendon Drive, #120 storefront will be opening as a part of the new East Dock development. According to paperwork filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, the restaurant will have a dedicated 955 square feet in which to serve its signature fare.

Co-founders Ikki Wu and Mason Ho were kind enough to offer What Now Dallas a glimpse at the upcoming eatery, saying: “Bite will be a Japanese style restaurant specializing in small bite Tapas and Sushi”. A social media post announcing Bite provided further clarification, certain to inspire hunger and excitement in DFW foodies: “We’re building something special—a space where elevated casual dining meets authentic Japanese culinary artistry. Think omakase bar, intimate sushi counter, and the warm hospitality you’ve come to know from our pop-ups.”

Dallas diners will be able to stop in and enjoy Bite’s cuisine this spring; Wu and Ho state that the project is on track for a projected March of 2026 opening.
