A coffee chain intent on changing the face of the java scene is pouring out another steaming hot cup for DC residents. Blank Street, which has “set out to reimagine what a coffee shop could be”, has signage up for a new location on Pennsylvania Avenue, reports popular Twitter feed @eat_dc.

The cafe is setting up shop at 2200 Pennsylvania Avenue NW. There is not currently a great deal of information available for the new location. A sign in the window states that Blank Street is “coming soon”, giving locals plenty of cause to get excited. What Now DC has reached out to ownership for more information and will update readers when further details become available.

Founded in 2020, Blank Street strives to perfect the coffee experience. The company website explains its ethos, saying: “However brief your coffee ritual, it sets the tone for your day. It’s rituals like these that give us a sense of structure, place, and confidence to take on the world. Rituals matter, and great rituals make your life better. That is why we invest so much time perfecting every detail in our customer experience.”
