Howl at the Moon, the live music and dueling piano bar that once anchored a corner of the Arena District, is entering a new chapter.
The venue at 504 Park St. closed permanently March 31, ending a four-year run in downtown Columbus. The closure was announced on social media and marked the end of the brand’s Columbus presence, according to reporting from Columbus Underground.
Since then, the building has changed hands. Local commercial real estate reports indicate the property, which previously housed Bar Louie before becoming Howl at the Moon, has been sold. Early indications tie the purchase to One Hospitality.
As of now, there has been no official announcement detailing plans for the space under new ownership. However, the involvement of One Hospitality has sparked speculation that the venue will be revitalized with a new concept rather than remain vacant. Observers are watching closely for updates on future tenants or redevelopment plans at the prominent Arena District address.
