Jeff’s Bagel Run, the chain of bagel shops whose bagels are “always boiled, never toasted,” is currently moving into a major growth push in its home state of Florida. The brand has signed on with two franchisees to open 7 locations in the Greater Jacksonville area—and this news comes as the brand also sets out toward growth in the Tampa Bay market.
Coverage published by First Coast News this week says the chain’s first location is set to open in Neptune Beach this spring. It will join the Seminole Shoppes, opening at 628 Atlantic Blvd, Suite 4.
“We’re targeting an opening in March. Construction is well underway, and we’re excited to welcome the Neptune Beach community very soon,” Catriona Harris, vice president of marketing for Jeff’s Bagel Run, told the Times-Union, the coverage says.
Jeff and Danielle Perera founded the chain when they “found themselves longing for the authentic New York-style bagels that Danielle grew up enjoying,” reads the Jeff’s Bagel Run website. “Dissatisfied with the options available, they decided to take matters into their own hands.”
Jeff’s Bagel Run offers a selection of scratch-made bagels in varieties like Asiago Everything, Cacio E Pepe, Rosemary Salt, and Cinnamon Sugar, and they can be topped with spread flavors like Banana Pudding, Cake Batter, Cannoli, and Chive & Onion.
Opening in the Seminole Shoppes, a retail center anchored by a Publix Super Market, Jeff’s Bagel Run will join restaurants like ZENSHI Handcrafted Sushi and Tokyo Ramen & Poké.
