Crab N’ Spice continues to grow its franchise imprint in SoCal. The seafood boil concept is preparing to add an Anaheim location at 160 W. Lincoln Ave., according to plans filed with the OC Health Care Agency – Environmental Health Division.

Records show a food remodel project tied to that address, with plans submitted in mid-December 2025. The status was marked as “unable to approve” earlier this month, and followed by revised plans submitted this week.

The Anaheim restaurant will be operated by Anwar Syed, CEO Maricar Reyes told What Now OC. He is a first-time franchisee entering the brand’s emerging network, which includes new franchise outposts across California, Nevada, and Arizona.

Crab N’ Spice traces its origins to a home kitchen in 2014, followed by the first brick-and-mortar location opening in Ventura. The concept centers on by-the-pound seafood boils (shrimp, snow crab, lobster tail, clams, mussels, and crawfish), fried baskets, group combo platters, garlic noodles, clam chowder, beignets, and large-format catering options.
